To celebrate the Lunar New Year and express the brand’s gratitude toward its clients and partners, The Only Three has introduced a gift box with the theme of the Year of the Dragon. This box set includes lucky envelopes, gift bags and a set of Vietnamese Lô Tô games, designed and produced exclusively for this occasion.

Lô Tô is a fun number-guessing game, the Vietnamese version of the French lottery. Played in groups, it’s a great way to stir up the atmosphere during the holidays, a chance to bond with others. This age-old game vividly reflects Vietnam’s culture and daily lifestyle.

Inspired by Lô Tô’s community spirit and highly portable nature, The Only Three has chosen this game as the main concept of our 2024 Lunar New Year’s boxset. Our team designed and produced every component of the game, from the colorful number cards, packed in a drawstring pocket, the tutorial pamphlet to the best-placing pieces and their storing wooden box. Through this artistically crafted traditional game, The Only Three wishes to reunite people in a fun, heart-warming holiday ambiance and establish a positive start for the new year.

2024 is the Year of the Dragon and The Only Three has taken this majestic, noble creature as the inspiration for our modeling and packaging design. Our team’s approach in this project is out-of-the-norm: to render the dragon in a cuter and funnier way to appropriately accompany our Lô Tô spirit concept. 

Illustrations of youthful, chubby dragons, dragon scale texture and a sycee-patterned dragon egg are featured on all packaging. These designs are also adapted into custom 3D models for our Lô Tô game’s pamphlet and pieces. Accompanying the set is a tote bag of the same concept for people to carry it everywhere.
