ECOVILLAGE SAIGON RIVER

DESCRIPTION

EcoVillage Saigon River, the first Blue Zone region, developed in Vietnam by the eco-urban developer Ecopark Group, has been selected by the prestige and opulence Kempinski Hotels as the location for its first and sole Vietnamese resort to commemorate the centuries old hotelier’s 130th anniversary. Kempinski Saigon River is the groups’ first hotel in the world to be built on a Blue Zone region.
Taking into account its unique architecture and landscape design which covers 11 hectares along the Saigon River, as well as Kempinski’s brand guideline, The Only Three has conceived Kempinski Saigon River’s invitation design and communication materials.

INSPIRATION

Enchanted by these timeless values of the icon witnessing the history of the city, Kempinski has chosen the majestic river for its newest venue, Kempinski Saigon River resort. The harmony between cultural legacy and contemporary development that Saigon river continues to nurture aligns with Kempinski’s mission of cultural immersion on its properties around the world.

Europe’s oldest hotelier finds that the river is an ideal location to introduce a sustainable lifestyle that synchronizes with the rhythm of nature. Spending time enjoying the landscape, architecture and activities along its peaceful flow will foster a sense of belonging and community among the residents.

INVITATION DESIGN

The Only Three has closely studied and adapted the Kempinski brand guideline to design the Kempinski Saigon River’s invitation letter. Using the guided choice of paper, our team has conceived a luxurious and creative design of a petal-patterned cut-out envelope and a letter with pop-up pivoting flower arrangement.

Aside from a gradient of rich stellar blue and elegant ivory–two primary colors in the brand’s palette were included artistically throughout Kempinski’s key visuals. To emphasize the brand’s timeless identity and to honor its prestigious high-class properties around the world, a touch of pale gold was added to foiling details.

CAMPAIGN

Kempinski’s graphic is a set of four beautifully illustrated flower patterns, each representing a region of the world where its properties are located. The brand’s region-specific pattern for Asia is peony, the symbol of prosperity, good luck and honor. The Only Three has adorned the layout of Kempinski Saigon River’s communication visuals with a peony bouquet pattern, made elegant and subtle through various degrees of transparency.
