CONCEPT

Bringing the illustration, curated design pieces, and the brand narrative to life, The Only Three conceptualized the photo shoot for ELLE Magazine Vietnam in 2015, highlighting the iconic fashion house’s Pre-Fall Metiers d’Art Paris-Salzburg collection and bring it to life on the pages.

The shoot took place in Seoul, South Korean at an eclectic and special old house built in the 1930s, a part of the “Preservation of monuments and cultural heritage” campaign assigned by the Korean government. The backdrop of the shoot was in the beautiful outdoor garden Choi Sunu once tended to himself, with ELLE capturing a modern fairy tale under the “Princess from Seoul” concept.

We hand-picked the special location as a homage to Chanel’s Pre-Fall Metiers d’Art Paris-Salzburg collection, which celebrates the cultural and aesthetic heritage of the Austrian aristocracy. The set and backdrop provided by the scenic location are the perfect harmony of West & East, and a testament to the past, present and future.
