CONCEPT

AMOMA is a series of upscale luxury boutique residences in Japan, developed by Hong Kong-based Fuin Holdings. With two projects across Tokyo’s most prized locations in Hiroo and Minami Azabu, and another in the seaport town of Atami-AMOMA personified luxury, yet subtly understated high living.

AMOMA established its core concept of “The Space in-between”, referring to a hidden sanctuary with a deeply enriched, highly curated inner world that distinctly separates itself from a bustling outer world. AMOMA Minami Azabu and AMOMA Atami sought their own and individual brand identities, each would reflect the positions under the AMOMA group’s umbrella, but with its own traits and value propositions.

MINAMI AZABU

AMOMA Minami Azabu is a uniquely positioned private residence tucked in a residential zone of a high-end Tokyo neighbourhood, just off Rappongi. The Only Three was tasked with reinterpreting the core value of “The Space In-Between”, and curating a bespoke concept, especially tailored to this location.

From the very early stages of inception, The Only Three took on the role of a curator, and worked to formulate the residential concept from the ground. AMOMA Minami Azabu represents a duality of two life forces; stillness and movement, as a gateway to an inner private world and an outer world of urban, bustling dynamism.

The concept of “A Secluded World of Duality as Oneness” was born, formed on the different and varying stages of life and how they seamlessly connect. This balance was represented by the architectural structure of the residence, as well as the refined and modern interior which fostered an intergenerational living space.

Whilst the prominent, central stairway represented the connectivity of family, each floor and bedroom promotes privacy and personal space, echoing the concept of duality and oneness. With this outline, The Only Three worked to create the foundation that formed AMOMA Minami Azabu’s website and brochure.

WEBSITE & BROCHURE

Once the concept was defined, The Only Three worked with the AMOMA team to build the brochure and website, both with similar approaches. Through the lens of exploration and creativity, the content for AMOMA Minami Azabu was born. Both platforms were adapted according to their respective forms, with an intention of creating an authentic portrayal of the AMOMA brand, but with a tailored twist to fit the residence itself.

Based on clean, minimal design, both the brochure and website were displayed with minimal design and earth tone colour schemes to reflect the inner peace and calm evoked by the property itself. The colour palette included warm grey, warm brown, beige and black grey.

The storytelling crafted by The Only Three took readers and prospective buyers through the story of space, culture and services which blend together to make an inspired residence of ultimate luxury comfort and living.
